Can't remember how old my computer is, sometimes I have trouble remembering how old I am, but I may get a new video card and give it another try. Sorry to hijack this thread!

There's not a lot left to do before moving phase I to the Blue Monarch site and maybe today will begin that process. I think everyone involved will be happy about that. The Decherd Nazarene church gym needs to be cleared out so they can get on with volleyball season. The breakdown shouldn't take as long as the construction. The procedure we agreed to at our last get together is written and some sketchup sketches of each major step completed. Watch this space.

Stage 4 photo doesn't show the middle staircase, but then we'll know by then where we're going. Sketchup surely is helpful for this kind of project but I think we may be pushing the limits of the program with the number of scenes demanded. I admit to having taken a few shortcuts to fake these [hopefully] last images by hiding stuff from view where necessary to make the photos, but that's one of Sketchup's features after all right?

We [Henry, Paul, Vince, Richard, and me] disassembled the Blue Monarch Phase I structure today and got it ready for Jack to pick up on Saturday. Wednesday, the 6th, we'll meet at its final resting place and put it all back together, add a few final touches, and skedattle. The Phase II crew will take over from there and start the bookcases.

Phase I of the Blue Monarch is finished. We got it installed in less than 3 hours. It's ready for the next crew to take over and do Phase II.

The moms were the big winners with this Sid. They were very happy with it and were right there with the youngsters.

Blue Monarch came en-mass to the meeting on November 21 to thank the Club for building the children's library nook. The children made thank you cards and passed them out to members and the ladies made refreshments which the members enjoyed at the break.

The photo shows the Phase 2 portion of the project integrated with the phase 1 from previous posts. A lot of work went into that project for a very good cause. Thanks to all who participated.
